Sapevamo già che Sour ama costruire biciclette in acciaio, ma un paio di nuovi prototipi suggeriscono che non si fermeranno presto alle normali vecchie mountain bike hardtail e gravel. Non è la nostra prima occhiata alla Double Choc a sospensione completa, ma ora diamo uno sguardo da vicino (e il video di Timo Pritzel che la lancia all'indietro!) E quei Cybercranks? Abbiamo intravisto questa mountain bike Sour a sospensione completa in acciaio dalla fine del 2020. La sua forma generale sembra non essere cambiata molto rispetto a quei primi prototipi pronti per il trail... ma il livello di guida a cui è stata sottoposta è decisamente continuato evolvere.

Questo perché questa particolare bici è stata nelle mani del freerider tedesco Timo Pritzel sin dall'inizio dello sviluppo. E siamo passati dal trail riding e dall'incitamento delle persone ad andare in bicicletta e fare yoga... fino a trattarla alternativamente come una bici da Slopestyle o da Bike Park.

Il prototipo Double Choc in acciaio made in Germany presenta uno schema di sospensione a perno singolo con un ammortizzatore azionato da un collegamento separato e un bilanciere. Quei due elementi in argento lucido sono gli unici pezzi non in acciaio, ma lavorati a CNC proprio di fronte a Sour a Dresda da Actofive.
